   Air-Tran is also no longer sponsoring Vick. It was reported back in June that they will not renew their contract with him.

   Thanks Mike and thanks for the link you sent offline. I updated the article and added the link regarding AirTran.

   From the article it sounds like AirTran chose to do the right thing despite the fact that prior to the controversy Vick had made them a lot of money through his endorsement.

   But after the public learned about the dog fighting thing, they seem to have hit Air Tran pretty good with their concerns.

   TO ALL MIKE VICK HATERS, LET MIKE GET HIS DAY IN COURT. MIKE VICK IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, DID YALL FORGET THAT AND DID THE CONSTITUTION GO OUT THE WINDOW BECAUSE MIKE IS A BLACK MAN WITH A 100 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT. DID YOU PEOPLE CONTACT GREYHOUND DOG RACING AND TRY TO GO AFTER THEIR SPORNSORS FOR WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN DOING TO DOGS. INSIDE SPORTS RAN AN ARTICLE ABOUT HOW THESE PEOPLE TORTURED AND MURDERED THOSE DOGS AND IT HAD BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS. WHERE IS THE FEDS? WHERE IS THE PUBLIC OUTRAGE? THAT IS WHY MOST BLACKS THINK THAT THIS THING IS RACIALLY MOTIVATED. YOU PEOPLE ARE SUCH HIPROCRITS!!!

   The sooner he gets his day in court the better. This website does feel that he is definitely innocent until proven guilty.

   That does not negate him for being responsible for himself, his business, his property and anyone that works for him.

   Regardless of guilt by a crime, Michael Vick is responsible for the 60+ dogs that he kept on his property that had to be killed because they were raised to be kill each other in a dog fighting ring.

   Just like a police officer that gets put on leave without pay when they are under indictment, Vick needs to be suspended without pay until the court process continues.

   As I see it this has absolutely nothing to do with his race and everything to do with his responsibilities.

   He HAD the power to prevent every single one of those dogs from being killed or tortured. He had the money to protect his property from abuse. He made the decision to put himself in a situation where he would risk his entire career and all the people that relied on him and looked up to him as a role model.

   He had the power to do a great deal and he wasted it away. He’s no better than George Bush in my book. GW had the power to help the people of New Orleans and he neglected his responsibility.

   Vick could have done a great deal more for people in need, he could have even donated money to the NAACP or joined and beomce a member, but he chose not to do that. Instead he bought some property and at a minimum let his buddies start raising and fighting dogs.

   He didn’t live up to the image required by his sponsors and he didn’t live up to the code of conduct required by the NFL. That’s why he should be suspended.

   I don’t hate the guy. I feel very very sorry for a man that had so much, and squandered so much more in a way that allowed people to continue to suffer and the dogs he owned to suffer even more.

   Michael Vick and GW are both symptoms of what is wrong with the world. They amass great wealth and power and squander the potential to do good with that wealth in power, even opting to do very very bad things.
