Michael Vick’s Dogs Heading West
There have been several reports this week, about Michael Vick’s dogs getting place and very shelters and homes. One of those shelters is as best as I can tell something of a ranch out in Utah that specializes in taking care of abused dogs and dogs raced for dogfighting.
Monday, Michael Vick faces sentencing for his actions and transgressions. But for the dogs that were abused and tortured and survived, they get to start a new life. Let’s hope, someday in the distant future Michael Vick will be a start a new life and make up for what he’s done.

Mike Vick should serve a year in prison for each dog he killed — 8-10 years. I believe you can be sentenced to a year in prison for hurting an animal in my state. Hence, my prior statement. Also, he should never be allowed to play professional sports again. He is a disgrace to the sport and certainly not a power of example to kids who look up to athletes. Yes, people make mistakes, but this man is angry. Anyone who hurts an animal in any way has underlying issues.
I believe he deserves more that what he got!!! I still do not understand how someone can do this to defenseless animals that trusted him and probably loved him and looked to him for care to live. He did not have to kill them, he could have given them up to shelters for adoption or at least given them that chance!! He is truely EVIL!!! And what a bad example to set as a QB for the Atlanta Falcons, he should not be allowed to ever play again!!!!! what a dumbass, completely ruined his life…I can’t even stand the sight of him on TV or on-line anymore and i’m sure its the same for a ton of people out there!!
I completely agree with the comments above. I think Michael Vick is a waste of human life. I can’t imagine what harsh treatment those poor animals went through. They don’t get a second chance at life like Michael gets. He got off way too easy. He put a great deal of suffering on so many animals and it would be a shame that after a few months he is realized and his actions are forgiven. I will be completely disappointed in football if they were to allow him to play again. I honestly hope he suffers for the rest of his life and god bless all those animals that were subject to his cruelty and complete stupidity!!!
