Updated Mission for the Campaign to Sack Michael Vick

We have updated several of the points in our mission statement. Our mission has not changed and is not currently fulfilled as there is still an open murder investigation relating to Michael Vick and Michael Vick is still a member of the Falcons and the NFL(temporarily suspended).
Michael Vick is also scheduled to head back to court in a couple months. We will monitor that trial and look to see if any forward progress can be made on the murder investigation of one of Michael Vick’s partners in the illegal dog fighting ring.
Note – I call the person a partner as he did business with Michael Vick, selling Vick one or more dogs and fighting dogs that he owned against Michael Vick. As this activity is illegal, it is not technically a business partnership as illegal activity can not be contractually bound. I use the term partner in the loose sense that they did illegal business together. In one situation, Michael Vick appears to be a customer of the deceased and in the other (the dog fights) he was the backer of dogs that fought illegally. I do not have any details as to how money either party won or lost in dog fighting directly with each other before the murder occurred last spring immediately after Vick’s Property was seized.

Get a life PETA. You people are not God. If mike vick wasn’t a young black millionaire who wouldn’t be all over this story. God doesn’t like ugly and Peta continuance of painting Mike Vick as the only dog fighter that need to be incarcerated is hypocritical.
Michael Vick is not a scum bag because he is a young black millionaire. He’s a scum bag because he screwed Atlanta, He screwed the Falcons, he screwed his business partners and he engaged in running an illegal gambling operation that led to the murder of another young black man that didn’t benefit from being a multimillionaire.
And as you are commenting on several articles, I’ll repeat that this site is not peta, not owned by peta, the owners of this site are not affiliate with peta, and we mostly do not like peta.
You are right again on one point, god does not like ugly and he sure as hell does not like ugly people that squanders the gifts they are given to kill and torture the rest of gods creatures.
No one here ever painted Michael Vick as the only jerk guilty of dog fighting or animal fighting for that matter. But he is one of the biggest fools to flagrantly break the law and try and hide behind his fame and fortune to avoid justice. We’d be more than happy to see any one else guilty of dog fighting find the justice they are do through the judicial system. There’s nothing hypocritical about that.
I honestly hope that Michael Vick NEVER plays football again. I hope that his court cases continue and that he is all but wiped out financially.
I hope that he becomes like the most of us. Working hard just to manage the bills and put a little away for our kids future. I hope that HE one day has to get a part time job, like I am having to do, in able to give support to the VICK-tims that people like him create.
THEN I hope he finds true faith. I hope he humbles himself and REALLY realizes the harm, grief and pain that he has caused many over what he has done. I hope he feels it DEEP in his heart. THEN and only then, do I hope he finds forgiveness.
Wow!! Some post. I mean…Has anyone though about all the animals that became extinct because a couple of guys wanted to see who could kill the most. Michael Vick is hardly like that. Six to eight dogs he killed….Would you rather he gave the fighting pit bulls to a couple of kids for pets?
So Likeme are you suggesting that Michael Vick did society, kids and the dogs a favor by raising them to be aggressive and then kill them?
hrmmmm never thought of it like that. Michael Vick is really doing society a favor. Maybe he should go door to door working with kids and families to make their family pets into killer dogs, then walk the dogs out back with kids in tow where he can string them up from a tree, electrocute them, drown them and if all else fails slam the dogs to the ground with what’s left of his muscle and strength until the dogs die.
Maybe after he gets out of prison, he could start getting back into shape performing this public service. He could start with chihuahuas work his way up to toy poodles, shitzu’s, and puppies, then build into medium sized dogs beagles, hounds, terriers and spaniels and then move into larger dogs.
Then again, I don’t think so. There was nothing redeeming in his actions. He was not doing those dogs nor society any favors.

You are a bunch of hypocrites. If God can and does forgive Michael Vick then who are you to condemn him to a live of pain or send him to hell. I know that none of you believe you are going to heave or maybe you don’t care. With sentiments like yours I know some of you do not attend church on Suday mornings. To d so is to be a hypocrite. Let me remind you of Jesus’s reactions to those who would condemn a woman caught in adultery.
Religou leaders brought a woman who had been caught in adultery to Jesus and demanded that she be condemened because of her sin. Jesus bent and began writing on the ground. As he raised his head, he merely said, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. EAch quietly walked away. Jesus Christ is the only human who has lived without sin. As he turned to the woman he asked her where are those who would condemn you, she responded that they were no longer there. He told her hie did not condemn her. He merely told her go and sin no more. If Jesus could be forgiving than who are you who choose not to forgive Vick.. John 8:1-11.
Jesus often spoke of the need to forgive others. He emphasized that we wil be forgiven in the manner that we forgive others. If we show no forgiveness then we will receive no forgiveness.

As always it is good to hear from you and your point of view.
I suppose that if the prostitute in question had instead been Michael Vick and it was dog torture and killing instead of adultery, maybe the crowd would not have departed as slowly.
Not because adultery is better or worse, but because far fewer people torture dogs rather than commit adultery.
All that said, this site was never about judging Vick’s soul and whether or not he should make it to the Pearly gates. It was about bringing justice to an unjust situation when a rich guy almost bought himself out of a despicable act of his own creation.

Your questions raise good points. From a big picture perspective, someone was apparently trying to hide something by killing those dogs, and that may even tie in with the date of Bud’s murder, April 25th also, and close to the federal raid on Vick’s property.

Wow, I have read as many forum entries concerning vick as anyone but these have to be the deepest.. And it is probably a good thing that all the african americans stick together. The terrible thing is that all of these individuals who are sticking with vick do so regardless of how badly he has let them down with his obvious selfish behaviors. He has drug anyone and everyone who has ever had anything to to with him , including the fans through the mud with him. and it doesnt look like there is going to be an end to it any time soon. It is a very sad situation all the way around..
