Primary Investigator from Virginia Fired – Breaks Silence – Picture of Vick in Bad Newz Kennel Gear Broke the Case
In a local interview in Virginia, the original investigator on the Michael Vick case has broken his silence. He has indicated that a picture featuring Michael Vick on his property in Virginia holding “Jane” one of the fighting pit bulls mentioned many times in the case, while wearing clothing and gear with the Bad Newz Kennel logo.
It would seem that at the end of the day, after the hundreds of millions of dollars in endorsements that Michael Vick received, it was the label of an endorsement from a brand of his own creation that actually brought him down and possibly was the tipping point for his guilty plea.

Michael VIck should rot in HELL. What was he thinking? He was making all that money and still had to resort to something this cruel. I have rescued Pit Bulls for years, they have a bad reputation in part due to people like Vick. I think we should torture him in the same way he did these dogs. He should never be allowed to play football again. He should not be a role model to our children!! Keep him in prison.
ROLE MODEL?? ARE YOU RETARDED?? Thats one of the many things wrong with this country. You know, growing up I had athletes I admired. Bird, Magic, Jordan, Montana, Payton, Sanders, Lott, etc. But you know who my role model was and still is………………. MY DAD!!!!! It’s not athletes, entertainers or politicians’ job to be an example for MY children. They have THEIR own children to provide for and to teach right from wrong. HEY “BLONDIE”, BE CAREFUL OF THOSE YOU JUDGE AND YOUR LACK OF FORGIVENESS. No one is perfect. AND your little tirade and this “crusade” you people have against this man is truly sad. Check out PETAKILLSANIMALS.COM and see what the TIdewater chapter of PETA is doing to animals themselves. And Vick was not a “CRIMINAL MASTERMIND”, he wasn’t NINO BROWN or Scarface. He did own the property where these acts took place. He didn’t “BANK ROLL” this enterprise. He bought dogs and paid bets. Many athletes financially take care of their inner circles. Granted, he definitely should have had smarter people in his corner. But as aweful as the senseless killing of those animals was, I am bound by my relationship with CHRIST to FORGIVE HIM. Now, do you love animals more than you love CHRIST??
Adrian, I am not religious, so your last question is irrelevant.
As to the role model issue, I don’t entirely disagree with you. I do not think it is a good thing that athletes are marketed by organizations like the NFL and NIKE as role models and heroes but the truth is that they are.
Fighting against that issue is a war that I’m not yet prepared to fight (would love to do it, but not prepared for that yet).
However, as a step in that direction, we can at least fight to stop putting evil criminals on a pedestal by corporate sponsors like the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles and all the Eagles sponsors.
Who here has said they support PETA or HSUS?
Vick tortured and killed dogs with his own hands. God may forgive him for that in the next life but I never will in this one
Hi, Adrian.
Fortunately, my beliefs aren’t in line with an either/or philosophy, as the undertone of your post suggests. Does your “Christ” condone referring to those you disagree with as ‘retarded’?
Not many youths, particularly in the inner city, have dads to serve as role models. And it’s not unusual for any child of any backgroud to want to emulate sports figures – it’s what drives high school sports, marketing, clothing lines, etc.
If, as you claim, you are the result of your Dad serving as your role model; and in light of your statement, “HEY “BLONDIE”, BE CAREFUL OF THOSE YOU JUDGE AND YOUR LACK OF FORGIVENESS”, one may question the actual benefit of his role.
Great points Lisa H, I must be a little off my game today to have missed that!
