Vick Has to Pay $$ to Get Out of Jail & Go Broke
As crazy as it sounded, it was actually very reasonable for US Bankruptcy Judge Frank Santoro to decide that
- Michael Vick did need to show up for his own bankruptcy hearing
- That Vicks demeanor could not be determined via video as the US government wanted, and
- That Michael Vick would have to pay for himself to be transported from prison to Virginia for the hearing.
- source: Judge: Vick must appear at hearing, pay for travel
Vick was also not able to find any bidders at auction for his $3.2 million mansion in Atlanta.
Vick will likely end up on home confinement in the near future, and could be available to play football in the UFL or the NFL.
We here still feel that Michael Vick should not be allowed back into the NFL, where he earned millions of dollars from fans only to use that money to kill dogs and engage in illegal gambling activities. He may have paid for his crimes to the government, but there is no reason why NFL fans should throw more good money after a bad apple that squandered our good will.

Honestly, is it really that serious. If vick were runnig a cock fighting ring than it really wouldn’t be a problem. People slaughter, and sometimes toture, animals for human. So if he would have eaten the dogs there shouldn’t have been a problem. In that cause do we know he didn’t intend to eat them. Secondly people hunt animals all the time. And yes the torture the, trust me I know. And his crime does have anything to do with nfl. You people should been satisfyed with bull shit time he did do, but people love there dogs.
Apparently you aren’t aware of the facts. You aren’t aware of the man that was murdered in Vick’s dog fighting ring. You aren’t aware that Vick financed his crimes with money he received from Falcons fans, from nike endorsements etc.
The NFL is a business that is based on its fans support. Vick took that support and killed dogs with it, ran a gambling ring with it and a person died. Regardless of whether or not he did time in jail for the crime, he does not deserve more fan support and money and neither does the NFL if they allow him back in. This has always been our goal here, even before Vick copped his plea deal.
Vick can go do any thing else for all I care (even make a fresh start in the UFL), but he should not be allowed back in to the NFL.

ASDF (from 3/13/2009) sounds like one of those types who either shoots ‘em, stuffs ‘em or marries ‘em.
I sincerely hope that Vick loses his fan base and any support from the NFL. In my opinion, Vick is not a true man and does not seem to have any values or respect for others…including animals.
I don’t think we’ll have to do much bashing. After all, you reap what you sow, and I’m a firm believer in that theory.

Is there someplace I can go to get one concise document and timeline for all the “troubles” of Michael Vick? I am seeking timeline for following:
Home detention time
1) Ron Mexico incident
2) Bankrupcy
3) Death of the other dog fighter that to my knowledge wasn’t solved
4) Guns, drugs (to include pot incident prior to sentencing)
5) Bad Newz Kennels
6) NFL highlights and lowlights
7) Federal lawsuit and court
9) Reports and alleged activities after release (like strip club sitings)
This may be asking alot, or I may need to gather this information for the many articles etc.
Thanks for any help
Not that I know of, but I think Google’s news time line tool might give you that.
If you happen across it or would like to write it up yourself, I’d be happy to publish it here on the site.
