There are millions of people in the world that make more money than I do and probably more money than most of the people that have posted on this website.

We are not angry about that at all. Most of the people that make more money than we do, do not spend their money developing criminal organizations promoting the systematic torture and killing of animals just to watch them die.

We are not pushing for a law to prevent anyone convicted of a crime from playing in the NFL, just people convicted of violent crimes as adults.

We are also not looking to punish Michael Vick for his entire lifetime, he's done a good enough job of that all by himself. We would be very happy to see him go and do almost any other job. Very happy to see him earn a living doing that, even earning a very rich living.

Regarding our safety, we feel that removing Michael Vick and other violent ex convicts from positions of heroic worship and influence will on the whole make us safer both against their potential for future harm, but also against the people they might influence to think that violent crimes are acceptable or that violent criminals will be rewarded financially.

We do not advocate a lifetime of punishment for anyone and that is especially true in the sense that we as fans do not deserve a lifetime of punishment at the hands of people like Michael Vick who will take our fan money and support and engage in dog torture for 6 years or support illegal gambling rings (which led to 1 murder of one of his partners by the way). Michael Vick's millions bought death and destruction for people as well as dogs, we do not want to support that in any form.

WOW.You people are just angry that sombody makes more money than you.
write your senate asking that any one convicted of a crime can never work again, unless they have a worse job than you do.
Hello. there is no such law.
Nor should there be.
You dont like Vick dont go to his games.
You people are sick with your lifetime punishments.
If any of you had any brains you would understand how life time punishments make you less safe.

For me, the letters were just a courtesy to let the sponsors know how I feel. As consumers, any real power we have will be in the money we stop spending - not in the letters themselves.

Some sponsors like Miller and Budweiser may even chuckle at the letters because they probably believe that we're too lazy or too stupid to check and see how many products they actually own - and the list is shocking. Even some beers not listed on their site appear to be connected to Anheuser Busch, such as Labatt and St. Pauli Girl.

As far as I can tell about the only well-known beers they don't own/partner with are Samuel Adams (largest American Owned Brewery in the country according to Wikipedia) Corona, Heineken or Moosehead so those are my family's new choices.

The media is so quick to talk about Vick and his so-called 2nd chance, but they're not touching the topic of our boycott (of course if they did they would risk losing their own sponsorships).

I think the NFL, Eagles and sponsors are all hoping that if they ignore us long enough we will give up but I hope they will be disappointed.

I for one will not give up until the sponsors pull out, Vick is let go, or he isn't brought back next season. Yes it will be hard, but doing the right thing isn't always easy.

You do realize that every company has a generalized letter that they send everyone who makes the Vick complaint? Don't you? Your letters never go to the CEO's COO's etc. Please, I know I am not the only one in corporate america who sees this every day!?

Your email is filtered directly to a paralegal, or worse yet their assistant. I should know, I send these kind of complaints to my assistant on a daily basis. No different from filtering spam.

Ohhhh Penelope! What a find your post is! It's heartening and reassuring to read that through those take action officers, a new beginning of compassion and care was set into action for one in need. Great post!

Hi, Sherri! So true - our discontent is getting acknowledged :) I've received similar responses.

Hugs!!
