Thank you for your passion and comments to concerned citizen. Some people have missed the true facts when it comes to Vick.

Concerned Citizen, you are incorrect when you say those who oppose Michael Vick "put more value in animals' lives than in human beings."
In actuality, we put more value on animals' lives than we do on the game of football. How many other animal torturers and killers are you out there defending other than Vick?
When you say people are killed every day and that we should be more concered about that, Bud Melton, a North Carolina dog breeder who was linked to Vick's dog-fighting ring, was found murdered in his home in April 2007. Are you working to encourage the police to solve that case?
Your premise that a death is a death no matter how it occurs is also false. Everyone eventually dies but there is a huge difference between a death which occurs by accident and intentional murder.
Take a logic class and then come back if you want to argue some more

I fail to understand your logic 'Concern Citizen'.

a death is a death no matter how it occures

So if my grandmother dies from cancer that is the same thing as if she were murdered by a drive by shooting?

If Michael Vick kills dog after dog after dog by torturing them with his own hands, by electrocuting them in swimming pools, by feeding pets to dogs in the rings to give them a taste of blood that is the same thing as a person that fails to protect a single dog that fell asleep in a car?

If Michael Vick concisously makes the decision to torture animals every day for six years, that is the same as one person that accidentally killed one dog on 1 day?

I think you suffer from an inability to understand the level of forethought and cruelty that Michael Vick chose to engage in every day for years.

That is not a normal human endeavor. It is not even a normal human mistake.

There is one class of people that also share Michael Vick's passion for killing animals.

Serial Killers

Michael Vick may not be a serial killer yet, but by his own actions he resides in a club of people that historically get their jollies killing animals for fun, getting their rocks off watching living creatures suffer to death, and engaging in sick, twisted psychotic fantasies that most normal people would never dream of let alone get pleasure from.

And what happened to Michael Vick?

He went to jail for less than 2 years.

Most people convicted of the crimes that Michael Vick was convicted of get prison sentences 10 times longer than former football hero, who wouldn't know the truth if it were a tattoo on his knuckles.

Face it you are not concerned about Michael Vick, concerned citizen. Michael Vick is a sick and twisted loser. He spent tens of millions of dollars so that he could get off killing puppies.

You may be concerned because too many people in this world do not get a second chance, they do ever achieve forgiveness for the crimes and atrocities that they have committed.

Some of those people might even be worthy of a second chance and forgiveness, but they sure as hell are not getting any breaks with Michael Vick driving the charge to set an example of a 'deserving' human.

The people that are worthy of second chances and forgiveness are suffering more, because of Michael Vick. He is such a bad example, such a sick poster child for second chances, that the people that might be worthy are now getting lumped into the Michael Vick club for second chances. The problem is that Michael Vick already had his club, the club of people that like to kill puppies before graduating to serial killing.

If I were a former convict, looking for a second chance, looking for forgiveness, I sure would not want to join hands with a potential serial killer to get my chance. I also wouldn't want to give up my position in the line in the cosmos that doles out second chances so that an unrepentant degenerate like Michael Vick who spent his millions pulling his friends and family into criminal endeavors with him.
