Hi,
I am a foster mom for 2 boys now 18 and 19 both had a very hard life and after being in the streets and in jail the 18 year old was to change his life and he is now with me. He spent 9 months in boot camp and at 18 years old is a father of 2 boys. My question is after they have been out of my life for years and want a life change (the 18 year old), where do I start and how do I get someone that walk in his shoe to talk with him. I am asking for Michael Vicks because he reminds me of him and alway watching him when he come on TV. Just need some help, I tried to help them so many times and it’s hard. He is now living with me and because of his past he can’t seem to get a fair chance on a job. I am on disability so I have limited resource. Not asking for anyone to give us monetary gifts, just someone that has been their in any type of trouble with the law to help me help him to go in the right directions for the sake of the 2 children and so that he can give them a life he never had. I am the only mother he has ever had and I am so lost because they left me years ago and it seem as if everyone in Marietta (Cobb County) has given up on them and for some reason God keeps giving me this assignment, but I am hopeless. Please help if it’s just a phone call or a meeting for us to get help from the public…I need directions I can be reach at (678)398-7654.
