Michael Vick Wants to Play for the Panthers in NC – Where his Dog Fighting Partner was Murdered – and the Home of SACKVICK.NET

There was a time when I used to day dream about shutting down the Campaign to Sack Michael Vick at SackVick.net.  The site was initially setup when Michael Vick was very busy lying to the NFL, his fans, the public, his sponsors and the world, trying to convince everyone that he never had anything to do with dog fighting, even after his Virginia dog fighting compound was raided and one of his dog fighting partners in North Carolina was murdered (after providing evidence to Federal investigators against Vick).

We simply wanted the truth to come out, we wanted the massive amount of corporate sponsorship for a person that enjoyed torturing dogs removed, we wanted a sadist out of the NFL where he could no longer serve as a very negative role model for kids.

We achieved all of those things, but the last one was temporary.  Vick came back to the NFL and he is now capitalizing on his crimes with a TV show.

But the irony of this publicly acknowledged liar moving to the state, North Carolina, where a murder investigation of his partner is still open so that he can play for the local team because he thinks the uniforms look cool and so that he can stick it to the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Falcons fan twice a year is over the top even for Michael Vick and this completely screwed up situation.  Oh and don’t forget that some of those dog fights took place in North Carolina and that he bought and sold dogs to fight here in North Carolina, talk about moving to the backyard you used to piss in.

This site has probably defended Michael Vick as much as anyone when it comes to protecting his safety.  I have personally trounced on thousands of comments and emails that made any thing close to a threat against Michael Vick’s person.  We do not want to see him harmed under any circumstances.

We simply want justice and we want the NFL to stop victimizing people with Michael Vick.  That is not going to change.

WE DO WANT MICHAEL VICK AND FEDERAL INVESTIGATORS TO COOPERATE WITH LOCAL INVESTIGATORS TRYING TO SOLVE THE MURDER OF MICHAEL VICK’S BUSINESS PARTNER, A MAN THAT MICHAEL VICK BOUGHT AND SOLD DOGS FROM AND FOUGHT DOGS AGAINST.

It doesn’t seem like too much to ask for Michael Vick a convicted felon to cooperate with a murder investigation of a person that gave evidence against Michael Vick.

Last year when Michael Vick was fresh out of jail, the North Carolina Panthers didn’t want to have anything to do with him, joining the long list of almost all teams that would not have a dog killer leading their teams on the field.  I hope they don’t take Michael Vick’s radio plea for a job seriously.

Disclosure: My office is just a few blocks from the Panther’s stadium in Charlotte.  Given Michael Vick’s violent and blood thirsty tendencies, I’m wondering if I should get a restraining order against him.  I moved from Atlanta a few years ago to the Charlotte area, and now this crazy psycho Michael Vick is moving here too.  :(

That quickly changes when you realize you don’t have a QB. lol.

Why are people still on this stuff about michael Vick then man served his time he told people what he did and now it is time to move on. If your still trying to get “Vick sacked” then something is either racially wrong with you or generally wrong with you. America is all about the land of second chances and opportunity. A man murders somebody and he still has a fair chance at a job so give michael Vick the same courtesy he passed the interview people still want him in the league and teams still want him to sorry to disappoint you but he is coming back. Michael Vick killed some dogs get over it its time to give him is second chance.

    • Hey Matthew,
I guess you must think there is something generally wrong with me as there is nothing ‘racially’ wrong with me (if you have a problem with my race, even when you do not know what my race is, then I think maybe you have an intelligence issue). :)

That said, I have to call bullshit on your reply. If you murder someone, you do not get a second chance. Your opportunities coming out of prison as a convicted murderer are much reduced in the US society. There are many jobs, positions and rights as a felon that you do not have any more.

America is the home of the free, the home of the brave, not the home of second chances for losers too stupid, sick or sick and stupid to just not choose not to kill and torture animals for fun.

Michael Vick should not be a role model for kids either. It does absolutely no good to hold him up as a role model telling kids that if they completely screw up in life and end up in prison that they will have the right to a second chance.

There is NO SUCH THING in the constitution as a second chance. Teach them that lesson and you are going to help screw those kids up and send them down a path that could be as bad if not worse than Michael Vick’s.

So why don’t you grow up, and start taking some accountability for your life and the lives you are trying to influence by peddling this myth of second chances.

      • In the bible it says “FORGIVE AND FORGET”

        • It sure would help if people forgot how cruel and blood thirsty Michael Vick could be. How about we forget about how priests have a really bad track record for molesting children and covering it up? Or maybe we should forgive and forget that our government disproportionately locks up African American males more often, for longer sentences than white males (weird twist of reality is the exception that Vick got less time for his crime compared to anyone of any race convicted of the same crimes).

So maybe that very short summary of the bible, doesn’t really work all that well in real life. Sometimes, maybe we need to be aware of evil in the world (don’t forget nor forgive the devil for example!), we need to be aware and vigilant for danger and dangerous people.

We can easily allow Michael Vick and other violent convicted felons from the NFL to do their time in prison, but that does not mean we need to put them back on a pedestal, to operate under a highly financed microscope, the pressure of which often led them to the crazy lifestyle and crimes they committed in the first place.

Maybe we should have sent Ted Bundy to go around the country and speak to high school and college age boys about why date rape is bad?

If we ever catch Bin Laden, we should definitely ask him to do a reality TV show, and parade around ground zero in front of the cameras describing how he felt when he conceived his terrorist attacks on America, we could just conveniently forget that he had thousands of people killed.

Then again, how about we just forget your silly misquote of the bible and forgive you for suggesting that the people of the world should be naive around dangerous people that might harm them. We could just all sit around with happy smiley faces, grinning like idiots! :) :) :)

        • Steve:

Cool, if you really think we should forgive and forget, let’s forget slavery and racial inequality. What Mike Vick did should be minimized and forgotten, so why not also just think of the forced servitude and exploitation of an entire race, like many Vick supporters like to say, “a mistake”…cruelty isn’t a big deal, is it??

  • Laura:

I have a feeling that if the Panthers take him, the protests at games will be VERY well organized, and well attended, and the team sponsors will, of course, be inundated with calls and emails from disapproving fans. I’m guessing you have let team management know this? If not, you should. The Eagles seem pretty eager to unload him these days. I’m sure this whole Ed Block award thing is just an attempt to spruce up his image a bit, in hopes of getting more $ for him. If anyone reading has not heard, there will be a protest at the Ed Block Awards Dinner on 3/9. Please join us if you can and help keep MV’s $ value as low as we can. Info. is available on the ’causes’ page on Facebook.

    • I’ve been contemplating the best way to contact them, get the message to them, but not ruffle feathers in a way that might push them to actually hire the guy anyway.

Since this is mostly about Vick wishing and reaching out through a radio plea for a job, it makes it a little more difficult for some people to even take it seriously, possibly true for the panthers office as well.

  • Not that I would wish Michael Vick on anyone, but it looks like we may have dodged him as a contender for the Panthers here in Charlotte. Looks like Matt Moore might have beaten both Delhomme and Michael Vick out of a job, just hope its not a bate and switch. . . .

that just increases the chance of getting Vick. Panthers will need a veteran QB to compete with Moore.

  • john ridenour:

look on and forget. yes, vick fought some dogs. but besides that this is foot ball. and vick is a shining quaterback. hell im sure yall stoped on some roaches. killed some flys. now why are you going to do that. and torture the bugs that way?. we are all living beings. and not all of us are perfect. vick served his time. and thats that. look on and forget. here we sit petion against vick and his right to play football. now thats wrong. mayby some people should petition againt you killing insects and have the right not to work in america for you torturing a living being. get over it. he served his time.

  • Sam23:

Did they ever find out who killed vick’s dog maiming/killing best criminal pal?

Why would he want to go there? They don’t want him. No team does. Just because he’s got no Eagle friends he thinks some other team will appreciate him. WAKE UP, vick! You make the top two of the most HATED and DESPISED creeps in America by all red, green, yellow, black and white people. The Eagles can’t wait until your time is up. Hard to believe one or two of them hasn’t cleaned your clock yet.

No compassionate or decent person can stand the sight or thought of sick vick.

Washed-up loser. Wonder what he will do for workonce BET cans him and he’s kick out of football for good. For a native born, his English is abysmal. Me thinks he might try being a pimp next. He has no education, training, or talent for much else. His temperment fits that lifestyle to a t.

Doubt he’s saved a dime. A crazy fool who had it all and whose own evil ways did him in. He is so ignorant and heartless he doesn’t even realize he’s done wrong. I’m so pleased when evil sadistic brutal people get it in this life. Renews my faith.

He ruined everything that was handed to him. Never appreciated anything. He is the only one to blame, but he blames everyone else. He never deserved any of it. Maybe Ike Turner can make room for him in his E. St. Louis hovel. A fitting end.

Say bye bye to the limelight, sick vick. Look forward to seeing you in “where are they now” in 5-10 years.

    • Matt:

Well, based on your article, even if I’d never heard him talk before, my fist guess would be that his english is better than yours. You mustn’t even know much about the sport itself if you think that no team wants him and that he is not tallented, and that the Eagles want to get rid of him. That in itself is a bunch of crap. He is an extremly talented player, he can run fast, pass well, and do just about anything else you want him to do well. If you think I’m lying just watch a video of his highlights from this past season. The whole idea of no team wanting him is crazy, after the Eagles v. Falcons game in Atlanta, The Falcons fans were yelling “We want Michael, we want Michael”. Calling him “evil” and “heartles” is just pathetic. After he has finished his Nfl carrer, his name will be a legend. If you do reply to this, I’m interested to know who, according to you is the other “most hated and despised creep in America”.
